【摘要】:ThisstandardprovidesaguidefortheotherDDAstandards(seePracticesE2597,,andE2737).Itisnotintendedforusewithcomputedradiographyapparatus.Figure1describeshowthisstandardisinterrelatedwiththeaforementionedstandards.Thisguideisintendedtoassisttheusertounderstandthedefinitionsandcorrespondingperformanceparametersusedinrelatedstandardsasstatedin4.1inordertomakeaninformeddecisiononhowagivenDDAcanbeusedinthetargetapplication.Thisguideisalsointendedtoassistcognizantengineeringofficers,primemanufacturers,andthegeneralserviceandmanufacturingcustomerbasethatmayrelyonDDAstoprovideadvancedradiologicalresultssothatthesepartiesmaysettheirownacceptancecriteriaforuseoftheseDDAsbysuppliersandshopstoverifythattheirpartsandstructuresareofsoundintegritytoenterintoservice.ThemanufacturercharacterizationstandardforDDA(seePracticeE2597)servesasastartingpointfortheendusertoselectaDDAforthespecificapplicationathand.DDAmanufacturersandsystemintegratorswillprovideDDAperformancedatausingstandardizedgeometry,X-raybeamspectra,andphantomsasprescribedinPracticeE2597.TheenduserwilllookattheseperformanceresultsandcompareDDAmetricsfromvariousmanufacturersandwilldecideonaDDAthatcanmeetthespecificationrequiredforinspectionbytheenduser.SeeSections5and8foradiscussiononthecharacterizationtestsandguidelinesforselectionofDDAsforspecificapplications.PracticeisdesignedtoassisttheendusertosetuptheDDAwithminimumrequirementsforradiologicalexaminations.ThisstandardwillalsohelptheusertogettherequiredSNR,tosetuptherequiredmagnification,andprovidesguidanceforviewingandstorageofradiographs.Discussionisalsoaddedtohelptheuserwithmarkingandidentificationofpartsduringradiologicalexaminations.PracticeE2737isdesignedtohelptheenduserwithasetoftestssothatthestabilityoftheperformanceoftheDDAcanbeconfirmed.Additionalguidanceisprovidedinthisdocumenttosupportthisstandard.1.1Thisstandardisauserguide,whichisintendedtoserveasatutorialforselectionanduseofvariousdigitaldetectorarraysystemsnominallycomposedofthedetectorarrayandanimagingsystemtoperformdigitalradiography.Thisguidealsoservesasanin-detailreferenceforthefollowingstandards:PracticesE2597,,andE2737.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
