【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60793providesapracticalmethodforevaluatingfibreperformanceinadefinedenvironment.Thepurposeofthisstandardistodefineatestthatdeterminesthesuitabilityofopticalfibre(typesA1atoA1dandB1toB4)towithstandtheenvironmentalconditionofimmersionindistilledordemineralizedwaterwhichmayoccurinactualuse,storageand/ortransport.Thetestisprimarilyintendedtopermittheobservationofeffectsofimmersioninwateroveragivenperiod.ThisprocedureisconductedinaccordancewithIEC60068-2-18,testRe.NOTETheapplicabilityofthistesttootherfibretypesisunderstudy.
