【摘要】:Thelifecycleandcleanlinessofarecirculatingsteelmillrollingoildispersionisaffectedbytheamountofironpresent.Thisironconsistsmainlyofironfromacidpicklingresiduesandironfromattritionofthesteelsheetorrollsduringcoldrolling.Insamplingrollingoilsfortotalironitisdifficulttopreventadherenceofironcontainingsludgetothesamplecontainer.Thus,theaccuracyofatotalirondeterminationfromanaliquotsampleissuspect.Thispracticeprovidesameansforensuringthatallironcontainedinasampleisincludedintheanalysis.Althoughlesssignificant,theashcontentisstillanessentialpartoftheprocedureforobtainingatotalironanalysis.Generally,theashwillbemostlyiron,andinmanycases,couldbeusedasasubstitutefortotalironindeterminingwhentochangethedispersion.FIG.1PossibleHoldingFixtureandAssemblySystem1.1Thistestmethoddescribesaprocedureforsamplingandtestingdispersionsofrollingoilsinwaterfromoperatingsteelrollingmillsfordeterminationofashandtotalironcontent.Itspurposeistoprovideatestmethodsuchthatarepresentativesamplemaybetakenandphenomenonsuchasironseparation,fat-emulsionseparation,andsoforth,donotcontributetoanalyticalerrorindeterminationofashandtotaliron.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificwarningstatements,seeSections6and7.

【摘要】:ThispartofISO3651specifiesamethodforthedeterminationoftheresistancetointergranularcorrosionofausteniticandferritic-austenitic(duplex)stainlesssteelsinanitricacidmediumbymeasurementofthelossinmass(Hueytest).Italsospecifiesthepurposewhichmaybeassignedtothetest.Themethodisapplicableonlytoausteniticandferritic-austenitic(duplex)stainlesssteelssuppliedintheformofrolledorforgedproducts,tubesandcastproductsandintendedforuseinastronglyoxidizingmedium(forexample,relativelyconcentratednitricacid).IngeneraltheHueytestshouldnotbeusedforgradescontainingmolybdenumunlessthematerialtestedistobeusedinnitricacidservice.NOTE—Itisimportanttonotethattheresultofthecorrosiontestisonlystrictlyvalidforthecorrosivemediumusedinthetest.Itconstitutesabasisforestimatingtheresistancetointergranularcorrosionbutmaynotbeusedtocheckresistancetootherformsofcorrosion(generalcorrosion,pitting,stresscorrosion,etc.).Itisnecessaryfortheusertoadaptthespecifiedcorrosiontesttotheusewhichwillbemadeofthealloy.Thistestshould,innocase,beconsideredasanabsolutecriterionofthequalityofthealloy.
