【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesperformancerequirementsforgarmentsmadefromflexiblematerials,whicharedesignedtoprotectthewearer'sbody,exceptthehands,fromheatand/orflame.Forprotectionofthewearer'sheadandfeet,theonlyitemsofprotectiveclothingfallingwithinthescopeofthisInternationalStandardaregaiters,hoodsandoverboots.However,concerninghoods,requirementsforvisorsandrespiratoryequipmentarenotgiven.TheperformancerequirementssetoutinthisInternationalStandardareapplicabletogarmentswhichcouldbewornforawiderangeofenduses,wherethereisaneedforclothingwithlimitedflamespreadpropertiesandwheretheusercanbeexposedtoradiantorconvectiveorcontactheatortomoltenmetalsplashes.ThisInternationalStandardisnotapplicabletoprotectiveclothingthatisspecifiedbyotherInternationalStandards,suchasforfirefightinginstructuresandforuseinweldingandalliedprocesses.
