【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethoddescribesprocedurestoestablishtherelativebondstrengthofsteelreinforcingbarsinconcrete.1.2Thistestmethodisintendedtodeterminetheeffectsofsurfacepreparationorcondition(suchasbarcoatings)onthebondstrengthofdeformedsteelreinforcingbars(ofsizesrangingfromNo.10toNo.36[No.3toNo.11])toconcrete.1.3Thebondstrengthsobtainedusingthistestmethodarenotdirectlyapplicabletothedesignofreinforcedconcretemembers.Note18212;Thebondstrengthsobtainedusingthistestmethodaregenerallyhigherthanobtainedindevelopmentorsplicetestsusingbeamswiththesameembedmentlengths.Theresultsobtainedusingthistestmethodshouldonlybeusedforcomparisonswithresultsforotherreinforcingbarstestedusingthismethod.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninbracketsaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
